What is Palmetto Paws?
Palmetto Paws is a full spectrum CBD pet product. The product contains no artificial flavors or additives. The only ingredients other than hemp is MCT oil, also known as coconut oil, and saw palmetto. Your pets have an endocannabinoid system just like you do. And all the cannabinoids in full spectrum CBD helps keep that endocannabinoid system in balance. Why is that important? Initial research points to cannabinoids like CBD, CBG, CBN, CBD and THC can work together (which is called the entourage effect.) That entourage effect helps keep that endocannabinoid system in homeostasis. And can help regulate everything from stress responses, the immune system, metabolism and more.
It also has a handful of terpenes and other phytonutrients (plus a ton of antioxidants to help those free radicals.) That’s the joy of full spectrum (and why we like it more than broad spectrum and isolate CBD.) (Sorry for all the parenthesis.)
How Much CBD is in it?
There are 600 mg of cannabinoids, mostly CBD, in the product. The other cannabinoids in the product help provide additional health benefits to work synergistically with the CBD.
Will Palmetto Paws Get Your Pet High?
No. While the oil does contain THC, it is only a trace amount that’s not enough to cause any psychoactive effects in your pet. But make sure you give the recommended doses! There is a tiny amount of THC. So don’t let them get into the whole bag.

How Much Should You Give Your Pet?
Palmetto Harmony recommends providing your pet with a 1 ml serving size at a time. 1 ml of this oil contains approximately 20 mg of cannabinoids. Although if you have a smaller pet (like a cat), we suggest starting it out with 1/4ml and then working up from there. Since this contains no THC, there will be no issues with your pet getting high or having any psychoactive effects.
How Long Will it Take Palmetto Paws to Become Effective?
CBD oil can take up to 45 minutes for effects to be felt. But depending on the size of your pet, it may take more or less time. And if your pet is new to CBD, it may take 1-2 weeks to achieve its full effects. That time frame is usually 2-4 weeks for humans. Why? Well, there’s a reason we don’t have one-day clinical trials when it comes to CBD research. It takes time to its magic. Have a little patience!

Is this Product Legal?
Yes. While the oil does contain THC, it is less than the legal limit of 0.3%. Therefore it’s legal in all 50 states. Since the 2018 Farm Bill was passed, all hemp-derived CBD products with less than .3% THC are full legal. This includes products for pets, too!

Is this Product Tested and Certified?
Yes. Palmetto Harmony ensures all their products (including Palmetto Paws) are tested by independent, third party labs. They publish the results of these tests on their website. Also, Palmetto Harmony was given a grade of “A” by the Center for Food Safety. The CFS lab-tested 40 CBD brands for label accuracy and overall transparency in their manufacturing. Only four brands were given the “A” grade and Palmetto Harmony was one of them. Another great proof point that this is a trusted brand.
