THE GREENEST SAYS:
Lord Jones is at it again with their Acid Mantle Repair CBD Moisturizer. This skincare product has graced the pages of Forbes Magazine and GQ, in addition to sitting alongside top beauty brands on the shelves at Sephora. The ceramides help form the skin’s barrier. Hyaluronic acid and squalene replenish moisture. The blend of ginger and elecampane flower help protect the skin from environmental impurities. On top of all that, the full spectrum hemp extract supports reduction of redness and irritation. Could you ask for more in a moisturizer? However, I am not a fan of the price tag. The ingredients are to-die-for, but $75 seems a bit steep for a moisturizer.
WHAT IS THE LORD JONES ACID MANTLE REPAIR CBD MOISTURIZER?
This CBD-infused moisturizer is specially formulated for the face to help support the skin’s natural moisture barrier and acid mantle. The ingredients feature a 5-ceramide complex blended with full spectrum hemp-derived CBD oil and sunflower seed oil. And because it’s a full spectrum extract, it has all the cannabinoids for your endocannabinoid system. If you haven’t heard of that, your endocannabinoid system helps regulate everything form metabolism to immunity. Now, how much will a CBD topical effect your endocannabinoid system? Probably a bit less than if you ingested a CBD oil or edible. But Lord Jones makes a nice little luxurious product.
WHO IS THIS MOISTURIZER FOR?
The acid mantle is a delicate film on your skin that acts as a protective barrier to block bacteria and other environmental contaminants. You can damage your skin’s acid mantle by over-cleansing, exfoliating too often, and using harsh acids. Signs of damage to the acid mantle include redness, peeling, and dehydration.

HOW MUCH CBD IS IN IT?
Each 1.7 oz jar contains 250 mg of full spectrum hemp-derived CBD oil.
WILL THIS CBD TOPICAL GET YOU HIGH?
The full spectrum CBD used in the Lord Jones Acid Mantle Repair Moisturizer contains THC levels of less than 0.3%. Because the THC levels are so low, there not enough THC to produce the feeling of being “high”. Additionally, when cannabinoids are absorbed through the skin, the molecules linger in fat cells and do not enter the bloodstream. As a result, the hemp plant’s therapeutic benefits remain at the site of application.

HOW MUCH MOISTURIZER SHOULD YOU USE?
Apply the moisturizer to the face and decolletage morning and night after cleansing. The packaging also comes with a spoon to massage the moisturizer into the skin. Store the spoon in the freezer for a cooling effect on days when your skin needs a little extra care.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO BECOME EFFECTIVE?
The ceramides and hyaluronic acid in this CBD skincare product help replenish the skin’s moisture barrier. The blend of ginger and elecampane flower provide protection from environmental pollutants. The time it takes to see effects will vary based on consistent use, skin conditions, and nutritional lifestyle.
IS THIS LORD JONES Acid Mantle Repair CBD Moisturizer LEGAL?
Yes. This product contains less than 0.3% THC, making it legal in all 50 states, according to the 2018 Farm Bill.
IS THIS PRODUCT TESTED AND CERTIFIED?
Lord Jones lab-tests every batch of hemp extract before it’s infused into their products for CBD content and other cannabinoids, pesticides, contaminants, and residual solvents. Third-party ISO-certified labs test finished goods for cannabinoid and terpene profile, in addition to testing for microbials, mycotoxins, and heavy metals.
