Fountain of Health CBD Pain Salve is an affordable full-spectrum salve. The list of ingredients is long, but easy to understand. Mostly essential oils, mostly organic as well. Not too bad. CO2 processed hemp, which isn’t the MOST ideal, but at least it’s full-spectrum. They call it “Muscle Salve-ation,” so it seems to be targeted for sore muscles, arthritis, and the like. WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?

It’s a salve that’s infused with CBD. Given its name, it’s positioning itself as the promised land for your muscles. And the idea of sending your muscles to heaven sounds wonderful on paper. But in reality this is just a nice little salve. We love that Fountain of Health grows their own hemp and uses full spectrum CBD.

WHO IS THIS FOR? 

Remember that time you did a thing and then it hurt later? That’s who this is for. (Essentially you, either now, or when you’re older.) It’s for any kind of muscle pains you have. Whether that’s from working out, or just walking to the fridge (hey, we don’t judge.) Leg pain, back pain, front pain…this Fountain of Health CBD Pain Salve is formulated for whatever muscle-related pain you have.

HOW MUCH CBD IS IN THIS Fountain of Health CBD Pain Salve?

There’s two options. A one oz and a two oz version. The one ounce version has 500mgs of full spectrum hemp-derived CBD. And the two ounce version has 1,000mgs of that same exact CBD.

WILL THIS Fountain of Health CBD Pain Salve GET YOU HIGH?

No. It really shouldn’t. It’s not like you’re smearing this all over tongue. (You’re not going to smear it on your tongue, right?) And even if you did, you’d be fine since it has less than 0.3% THC. Long story short: Regardless of the CBD content, you shouldn’t smear this on your tongue. I feel like this section kind of went off the rails. Let’s move on.

HOW MUCH SHOULD YOU USE?

As with any topical, we ALWAYS suggest putting a tiny little bit on a small amount of your skin first. This is called spot testing. (At least that’s what we call it. Feel free to call it whatever you want.) Once you’ve done a spot test and your skin is fine feel free to slather it all over the painful parts.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO BECOME EFFECTIVE?

All the natural ingredients in this will start to do their job relatively quickly. Now, everyone’s different, and has different levels of pain. We also like to point out that CBD takes a little while to reach its full effectiveness. If you like the product, give is 2-4 weeks before judging the CBD.

IS THIS Fountain of Health CBD Pain Salve LEGAL?

Yes. Since it has less than 0.3% THC it is federally legal thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill.

IS THIS PRODUCT TESTED AND CERTIFIED?

Oh yeah. Fountain of Health is great about transparency and makes all the lab test results for all their products available on their site.
