THE GREENEST SAYS:
I would consider these Charlotte’s Web CBD Recovery gummies a triple threat. The formula features full spectrum hemp extract, turmeric, and ginger. Since this trio of naturally-derived ingredients all contain therapeutic properties to reduce inflammation, it’s the perfect combination for muscle and joint recovery. And Charlotte’s Web consistently makes one of the better CBD products on the market. We love that this is full spectrum CBD, so you get all those great cannabinoids. A couple things to note, though. Charlotte’s Web CBD oils always mention that they are U.S. Hemp Authority Certified, but we don’t see that certification in the gummies. So we’re not sure if this is from a different source of hemp than their other CBD products. But given their reputation, we’ll give CW the benefit of the doubt and say these are a great addition to any workout routine.
WHAT ARE CHARLOTTE’S WEB RECOVERY GUMMIES?
These gummies are infused with a unique botanical blend of ginger, turmeric, and full spectrum hemp extract to support joint health and strength. Due to the anti-inflammatory properties of the ingredients, these gummies help to reduce swelling for optimal muscle and joint recovery.
WHO IS THIS PRODUCT FOR?
Turmeric has been used throughout history to support healthy joints. Ginger is another natural remedy for inflammation. These powerful ingredients are also combined with naturally-occurring cannabinoids to improve recovery and mobility from exercise-induced inflammation. CBD is for those people who want to keep their endocannabinoid system in balance. And full spectrum CBD brings the big guns. It has all the helpful cannabinoids that work together for the entourage effect. (When we say cannabinoids, we mean CBD, CBG, CBN, CBC, THC etc.)
HOW MUCH CBD IS IN THESE CHARLOTTE’S WEB RECOVERY GUMMIES?
Each gummy contains approximately 5 mg of full spectrum CBD. You can get these in 30, 60 or 90 gummy packages. You get a little more bang for your buck when you buy the larger sizes.
WILL THIS GET YOU HIGH?
No. This product contains full spectrum hemp extract with less than 0.3% THC. As a result, these levels are not enough to produce the effects of feeling “high”.
HOW MUCH SHOULD YOU TAKE?
Charlotte’s Web recommends taking two gummies daily before or after exercise. But if you’re new to CBD, then we suggest just taking one first and seeing how you feel. We recommend this for any supplement. (Even something like the vitamins and minerals you take.) We do like that these come in the 5 mg sizes, especially for beginners. That gives you the flexibility to start low and manage your dosage as best for you.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO BECOME EFFECTIVE?
CBD edibles typically take 30 minutes to two hours to become effective. But everyone metabolizes CBD differently. With this in mind, the time it takes to feel effects may vary based on how long the edible takes to enter your bloodstream. And we always like to let consumers know that CBD usually takes 2-4 weeks to become fully effective. Don’t take one gummy and expect to feel like you’re a teenager again. Give it some time to work its magic before deciding if a product is right for you or not.
