THE GREENEST SAYS:

This Clover Apothecary CBD Arnica Cream is one of those products that get us super excited. First off, it has the name “apothecary” in it, which is a very underrated word. It’s sold in a little country store and uses full spectrum CBD made from small farms in Vermont. I mean, does it get any more warm and fuzzy than that? They support local farms. They’re in Woodstock. And in addition to their CBD, they also sell little plant-based plastic-wrap alternatives and hyper-local maple syrup. It’s like someone gave Cracker Barrel an edible and made it listen to the first Jefferson Airplane album. It’s awesome.

And a we mentioned, their CBD products are great. This Arnica cream in particular is going to be one of our higher-rated products. It’s full spectrum, locally sourced CBD. Local doesn’t always means better, but it tells us that the brand cares about their community. Which means they also care about their products. And 99% of the ingredients are things you’ve heard of like shea butter, wintergreen and lavender. Most topicals we review contain a ton of ingredients you need a molecular biology degree to pronounce. We love everything about Clover Apothecary’s CBD line and recommend them for yourself or as fantastic gifts.

WHAT IS Clover Apothecary CBD Arnica Cream?

It’s a CBD and arnica flower infused topical cream to help support “strains and sprains.” So it’s here to help you with joint, muscle and other pains. We’re not going to lie, we’ve never heard of arnica before this review. But apparently it’s a flower that’s also known as mountain tobacco or wolf’s bane. Which are also two awesome names for bands. There is a lot of anecdotal evidence around a wide-range of benefits that arnica can provide that we can’t really back up with evidence…so we can’t really repeat them here. But take a look at their arnica FAQ to see what they say.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

It’s for anyone who’s looking for a natural way to support issues around aches and pains. It’s not for anyone who’s allergic to marigolds or sunflowers.

HOW MUCH CBD IS IN Clover Apothecary CBD Arnica Cream?

800mgs of full spectrum, Vermont CBD! Oh yeah, this baby isn’t messing around. And you can buy it one time for $55, or save $11 per jar if you join their monthly subscription service.

WILL THIS GET YOU HIGH?

No. CBD may stand for cannabidiol. There is less than 0.3% THC in this full spectrum CBD product, so it won’t get you high as long as you take the recommended doses. We have no idea what might happen if you slather yourself in a tub of this stuff. Although, if you do, please take a video and send it to us.

HOW MUCH SHOULD YOU TAKE?

As with any topical, we always recommend starting on a small amount of skin initially to see if you have any reaction. If you’re good to go, then rub a quarter-sized amount of the Clover Apothecary CBD Arnica Cream on the affected area and let nature do its thing.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO BECOME EFFECTIVE?

This, my friend, is your journey. We like to stress that everyone is different when it comes to topicals (or any CBD products.) When it comes to the CBD benefits, we always stress to try a product for 2-4 weeks before deciding if it’s right for you. We always point our that they don’t conduct one-day CBD clinical trials. CBD takes a while to work it’s effectiveness into your system (especially if you’re new to CBD.)

Thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill, any CBD product that contains less than 0.3% THC is federally legal. And this one comes in right at 0.3%.

IS THIS PRODUCT TESTED AND CERTIFIED?

Yes it is. Although the only lab results we could find on the arnica cream only tested for CBD and THC levels. Their other product’s lab results tested for impurities and all of them passed.
