There’s something we really love about not only this CBD for Life Rub product, but the CBD for Life brand in general. No frills. No ploys or fancy uber-bespoke packaging that’s trying to appeal to the super hipster inside us all. Just a simple little disc with a simple little product in it. It’s here to help, not to sell. And then when you dig into what’s actually in this product, it gets even better. Sourced from Colorado – a great sign when a brand tells you exactly where they get their CBD. USDA-certified organic – awww yeah – another great check that this brand actually cares. CBD for Life also emphasize sustainable farming practices, boutique farms, non-GMO, female-owned with a great founder story…the list goes on and on. They even talk about seed genetic stuff which we like, but don’t really understand.
The only ding we’d give them is that they only use CBD isolate, instead of broad spectrum or full spectrum CBD. On the plus side, this CBD for Life Rub is THC free for those who have some reservations about putting anything THC-related into their body. On the downside it leaves out all the helpful cannabinoids that provide the full benefit of CBD. Why would they do all that other great stuff, but then just stick to isolate? Hey, whatever works. They clearly put a lot of thought into their products, so we won’t hold that against them. Plus, the camphor and menthol in this Original Rub work well enough on their own to alleviate aches and pains – making this a great starter CBD product.
WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?
As you can probably tell by the name, it’s a rub. It’s a high-quality rub that’s been infused with isolate CBD. They suggest taking a quarter-sized amount and rubbing it on areas that are causing you discomfort. Everywhere from your head to your toes. But not in your eyes or mouth (it’s sad we live in a world where we have to put “Don’t put this rub in your eyes”, but here we are.) They also have Lavender and Lemongrass versions of their rub.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Anyone with discomfort (such as muscle soreness or chronic aches and pains) that’s interested in trying CBD, but might be concerned about THC. CBD for Life was founded when co-founder Beth was looking for something natural to help alleviate her back pain. She joined forces with a chemist and her sister (that sounds like the start of a rom-com) and voila — CBD for Life’s Original Rub was born.

This disc has 120mg of CBD. Which actually isn’t a ton of CBD for the price. But their focus on purity and all the good stuff that gives us the warm and fuzzies makes this worth the slightly premium pricing.
WILL THIS GET YOU HIGH?
No. You could lick the whole disc clean and you wouldn’t feel any psychoactive effects. You know why? There’s no THC in it. (P.S. Don’t lick the whole disc clean, please.)
