Beam is a relatively new player in the CBD space. And since we love giving advice, we’re going to give some to them right now about their Beam CBD Focus Capsules. Beam, please have a seat. First off, you’re doing a pretty good job. You use broad spectrum CBD, which is a great THC-free CBD hemp extract that packs a few extra cannabinoids that isolate CBD does not. We love that. We also like your branding. But you’re kinda burying the lede here. These capsules contain not only CBD, but they also have quite a few functional mushroom extracts in them!
And no one will know that unless they read the fine print. (Hint: no one reads the fine print.) People like Lion’s Mane and ashwagandha and rhodiola (even if they can’t spell them.) Let them know all the fun, functional goodness that’s inside these capsules. OK, that’s it for today’s lecture. Anyway, these capsules check all the boxes when it comes to ingredients. As with a few other Beam products, their pricing is a bit cray cray. Unless our math is wrong, they are one of the most expensive products on the market when it comes to CBD milligrams per dollar. And we’d looooove to see their lab results.

(Sidenote: We will never, ever be able to spell ashwagandha without looking it up.) These capsules are designed to make you laser focused. Well, not focused on lasers. Just a bit more able to concentrate.
And this is made with broad spectrum CBD, so it has most of the cannabinoids (except THC) for your endocannabinoid system. As well as some terpenes and phytonutrients.

HOW MUCH CBD IS IN THIS?
Each capsule contains 5mgs of broad spectrum CBD. There’s 30 capsules in this jar, giving it a total of 150mgs of CBD.
WILL THIS GET YOU HIGH?
Not at all. Broad spectrum CBD is right between full spectrum and isolate. Broad spectrum contains the other helpful cannabinoids but none of the THC. (THC is what gets you high, in case you didn’t know.)

HOW MUCH BEAM CBD FOCUS CAPSULES SHOULD YOU TAKE?
Beam says you should take two capsules (or 10mgs of CBD) per day. We always suggest starting with one at first to make sure your body is all good with it and doesn’t have any crazy allergies you didn’t know about. if you’re good after one, then kick it up to two.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO BECOME EFFECTIVE?
CBD can take 2-4 weeks to become fully effective. We know, that’s not what you wanted to hear. Someone once told you that CBD can cure everything so you were expecting to pop two of these and then become Iron Man 15 minutes later. That’s not how CBD works and we wish people would stop making it sound like that. And as our Dr. Neil Shah likes to say: There’s a reason why they don’t conduct one-day clinical trials. It takes time for this stuff to work its way into y our system, especially if you’re new to CBD.
ARE THESE BEAM CBD FOCUS CAPSULES LEGAL?
Since it contains zero THC, it is totally and completely legal. The 2018 Farm Bill made all CBD products that contain less than 0.3% THC legal. You can take this on a plane, buy it online, ship it through the mail. It’s all good.
IS THIS PRODUCT TESTED AND CERTIFIED?
Beam says they test their products in-house and with third party labs, but they don’t actually post their test results online. We looked and couldn’t find them. Then we looked again. No dice. We’d love for them to change that.
